Kaylee's birthday was in June, but with the chaos of a new baby, her baptism, and the baby blessing I totally spaced blogging it. So, we're sitting at the soccer games and I glanced over at Sara to see her intently studying her bellybutton. I chuckled and turned back to watch the game. A minute later Sara says, "Mom, I have a hole!" After I stopped laughing I reassured her that it wasn't a hole and even had Rachel show Sara her bellybutton just to reassure her. It was quite funny!

On August 25th we had Brooklyn's two month check-up. Every thing looks good and the doc said she's doing fine. She was surprisingly long at 23.75", which puts her in the 97-99% for length. She weighed 10.9 oz, which put her in the 50%. She is already fills the length of her sleepers when she is fully stretched out. Here's some pictures of our sweet little baby. Sooooooo Cute!!!

Kids started school August 22nd and they were all very excited, even Sara. I was very nervous about how Sara was going to handle the kids going back to school and being gone all day without her. Our ward hosted a neighborhood pool party a several weeks ago. The kids of course were so excited to be in the pool. It took me so long to recover from delivering Brooklyn that I wasn't able to take them to the pool the few times we had planned. I can't believe our boy is seven years old. Time sure does fly. We were lucky enough to have my brother, Joseph, and his family in town from North Carolina to share in the celebration. Bryant chose a chocolate cake with his name done in M&M's. Sara wanted to help with the M&M's so it's hard to tell that the cake reads, "Bryant 7 yrs". The day after we brought Brooklyn home from the hospital Tia brought our kids home. They all came rushing in to hold Brooklyn. Everyone had to have their turn. Earlier this year we started doing pizza Fridays at our house (when we're home). We throw the dough ingredients into the bread machine for mixing, then we roll them out, add sauce and toppings (purchased in bulk at Sam's Club) and stick them in the oven. During school Rachel's class had a week where they talked about family history and traditions. One of their assignments was to bring in a recipe that was part of a family tradition. Kaylee warmed up to soccer a little faster than her sister. She also enjoyed playing goalie and made some pretty good saves. Rachel's soccer season was, let's say, interesting. She was pretty timid at first and all she wanted to do was play goalie. Rachel discovered yesterday that she has two loose teeth (front bottom). She lost her first tooth about six months ago and I was beginning to wonder when the next one would come. We can already see where one of the permanent teeth is about to break through the gums so I'm sure it won't be too long before they actually fall out. Needless to say, she is VERY excited!!!

Sara rolled over for the first time today! I had put her on her tummy and went to clean off the table.
